spring!
Tuesday, March 31st, 2009Spring is here. We saw a hummingbird feed at our feeder and lambs at a farm down the road! Our alders are dropping so many catkins Liam is collecting them in piles.

We have this beautiful maple tree in the middle of our lot, and she’s producing these colourful buds, lovely!
Note to self: clean bird bath. Actually the chickadees and Douglas squirrels drink here. And the birds tend to bathe in our fountain.
More ocean spray buds. These are so much prettier than the messy, winter ocean spray twigs in amongst our evergreen salal patches. Happy Spring!
